CDT Medical Tyvek® Sterilization Reels are medical packaging materials designed especially for hydrogen peroxide gas plasma (H₂O₂), ethylene oxide (EO) and irradiation (gamma/electron beam) sterilization. Genuine DuPont™ Tyvek® high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers are combined with a multilayer transparent protective film. The material does not absorb moisture, provides a microbial barrier and supports clean peeling with reduced fiber release during opening. The standard reel length in the catalog is 100 meters. Widths and product codes: TYV-050100 — 50 mm; TYV-075100 — 75 mm; TYV-100100 — 100 mm; TYV-150100 — 150 mm; TYV-200100 — 200 mm; TYV-250100 — 250 mm; TYV-300100 — 300 mm. These sizes address packaging needs ranging from small surgical instruments and probes to catheters, trays, implant pouches and larger medical sets. The product catalog states conformity with ISO 11607, EN 868-5 and DIN standards. The appropriate size and method should be validated for the intended sterilization cycle and packaged product.
